This activity aims to promote and share knowledge and
skills relating to traditional and contemporary art.
Our selected visiting lectures are recognised as
an international artist whose work has been exhibited
worldwide. They are willing to share artistic skills and
talents with the Mekong region’s art communities.
A one-month residency for each visiting lecturer
is planned, beginning in the 2006/2007 academic year,
with six lecturers making visits within two years.
Visiting lecturers should have no responsibilities for
curriculum development, research, or administrative
activities. They normally function as external specialists
or professional lecturers who provide expert teaching
support, giving lectures or seminars, etc. to groups of
students, middle and small.
Visiting lecturer duties may include any of the following:
A: Lecturing or teaching at the institute
B: Regular preparation, marking/double marking, and
correcting of student class work and homework
C: Complying with the institution’s policies and
requirements for accreditation, where applicable, and
with the institution’s quality control and assurance
monitoring procedures.
